Dental Veneers
Transform your smile with thin, custom-crafted porcelain shells
Dental veneers are one of the most transformative treatments in cosmetic dentistry. These ultra-thin shells of porcelain are custom-designed to cover the front surface of your teeth, instantly correcting chips, stains, gaps, and uneven shapes.
At Parker Dental Studio, Dr. Rima Trivedi has a keen eye for aesthetic dentistry. She works closely with each patient to design veneers that look naturally beautiful—not overdone. The result is a smile that looks like the best version of your own teeth, with a level of detail that reflects genuine artistry and care.
How It Works
Smile Design
We discuss your goals, examine your teeth, and use digital planning to preview your new smile before any work begins.
Preparation
A thin layer of enamel is gently removed from the front of each tooth. Impressions are taken and temporary veneers are placed.
Custom Crafting
Your permanent veneers are handcrafted by a skilled dental ceramist to match your ideal shape, size, and shade.
Bonding
Each veneer is carefully bonded to your tooth, adjusted for perfect fit and bite, and polished for a flawless finish.
Frequently Asked Questions
What dental problems can veneers fix?
Veneers can address a wide range of cosmetic concerns including: teeth that are chipped or cracked, stained or discolored teeth that don’t respond to whitening, gaps between teeth, teeth that are slightly crooked or uneven, teeth that are worn down or too small, and asymmetrical smiles. They’re one of the most versatile cosmetic treatments available.
Do veneers look natural?
Absolutely. Modern porcelain veneers are designed to mimic the translucency, texture, and color variations of natural teeth. Dr. Rima works with a skilled ceramist to ensure every veneer is custom-matched to complement your facial features, skin tone, and natural tooth color. The goal is always a result that looks naturally beautiful—not like “fake teeth.”
Are veneers permanent?
Veneers are considered an irreversible treatment because a small amount of enamel is removed during preparation. However, the veneers themselves are not permanent and will eventually need to be replaced, typically after 10 to 20 years depending on care and individual factors.
Does getting veneers hurt?
The preparation process is comfortable with local anesthesia. Most patients report little to no discomfort during or after the procedure. Some temporary sensitivity to hot and cold is normal in the first few days after bonding, but this resolves quickly as you adjust to your new veneers.
How do I care for veneers?
Care for veneers much like natural teeth: brush twice daily with a non-abrasive toothpaste, floss daily, and keep your regular dental cleanings. Avoid biting directly into very hard foods (like ice or hard candy), and if you grind your teeth, a night guard is recommended to protect your investment. With proper care, veneers are remarkably durable.
How much do veneers cost?
Porcelain veneers typically range from $900 to $2,000 per tooth, depending on the complexity and number of veneers needed. Most patients get 4 to 8 veneers for a complete smile transformation. Veneers are generally considered a cosmetic procedure and may not be covered by insurance, but we offer financing options to help make your dream smile affordable.
What is the difference between veneers and crowns?
A veneer covers only the front surface of a tooth and requires minimal enamel removal, making it a more conservative option. A crown covers the entire tooth and is used when the tooth needs structural support due to damage or decay. Veneers are primarily cosmetic; crowns are primarily restorative. Your dentist will recommend the best option based on your specific needs.
Can I whiten my teeth instead of getting veneers?
If your main concern is tooth color, whitening is a great first step and a much more affordable option. However, whitening can’t fix chips, gaps, shape issues, or certain types of deep discoloration (like tetracycline staining). We’re happy to discuss both options and help you decide which approach best achieves your smile goals.
