Botox & Neuromodulator Treatments
Smooth wrinkles and relieve jaw tension with precise, expert injections
Botox isn’t just for cosmetics—dentists use it therapeutically too. At Parker Dental Studio, we offer Botox and neuromodulator treatments for both aesthetic enhancement and functional relief, including treatment for TMJ disorders, chronic jaw clenching, and headaches caused by muscle tension.
With advanced training in facial anatomy, our team is well-qualified to administer Botox with precision. Whether you want to soften forehead lines, smooth crow’s feet, or find relief from painful jaw tension, our treatments are designed to deliver natural-looking results and real functional improvement.

Frequently Asked Questions
What can Botox treat at a dental office?
We use Botox for both cosmetic and therapeutic purposes. Cosmetically: forehead lines, frown lines (between the brows), crow’s feet, and gummy smile correction. Therapeutically: TMJ disorder pain, chronic jaw clenching (bruxism), tension headaches caused by overactive jaw muscles, and facial pain. Many patients come for one purpose and discover benefits in the other.
Does Botox hurt?
Most patients describe the injections as a brief pinch. The needles used are extremely fine, and the procedure is very quick. Ice or a topical numbing cream can be applied beforehand if you prefer. Any discomfort lasts only a few seconds per injection site.
How long does Botox last?
Results typically last 3 to 4 months. With regular treatments, some patients find that results begin to last longer over time as the targeted muscles gradually weaken from consistent treatment. We’ll recommend an optimal treatment schedule based on your response.
Will Botox make me look frozen or unnatural?
Not when administered correctly. Our approach focuses on natural results—softening lines while preserving your natural facial expressions. We use conservative dosing and precise placement. The goal is to look refreshed and relaxed, not expressionless.
Can Botox really help with TMJ and jaw pain?
Yes. Botox works by relaxing overactive muscles. When injected into the masseter (jaw) muscles, it reduces the force of clenching and grinding, which can significantly relieve TMJ pain, jaw soreness, tension headaches, and tooth wear. Many patients experience meaningful relief within 1 to 2 weeks of treatment.
Is Botox from a dentist safe?
Absolutely. Dentists receive extensive training in head, neck, and facial anatomy and routinely perform precise injections. Botox is FDA-approved and has been used safely in both medical and dental settings for decades. When administered by a trained professional, risks and potential side effects will be discussed during your consultation.
How much does Botox cost?
Botox is typically priced per unit, ranging from $13 to $15 per unit. Common cosmetic treatments require 20 to 40 units total. TMJ/therapeutic treatments may require more units depending on muscle size. We provide a clear cost estimate during your consultation. Cosmetic Botox is not covered by insurance; therapeutic Botox may have some coverage depending on your plan.
